| Favosite. Upper Ordovician to middle Devonian. Favosite is a colonial tabulate genus with thin-walled prismatic corallites which are in very close contact. This specimen took 10,000 years to grow to this size as a small deposit of limestone was left behind when each worm died Birdwood. |
